More than 10,000 older people receive digital skills training with Expertclick

Since its launch in 2018, the Expertclick programme has brought technology closer to more than 10,000 older people across Spain through free workshops on the easy and safe use of technological tools to improve their autonomy, independence and quality of life. Driven by the Cibervoluntarios Foundation and the Spanish Banking Association (AEB) Foundation—with the support of the Ministry of Social Rights and the 2030 Agenda—this initiative aims to equip people aged 55 and over with basic digital skills, especially in rural areas.

AEB Foundation and Somos Digital facilitate the use of digital banking

Me Apptualizo Launches: Digital Training Programme for Over-60s

The EmancipaTIC association and AEB Foundation, part of the Spanish Banking Association (AEB), are launching ‘Me Apptualizo’, a free digital training programme for people over 60 residing in Madrid. Madrid City Council and AEB join forces to promote cybersecurity and financial education
The Madrid City Council and the Spanish Banking Association (AEB) and its Foundation have reached a collaboration agreement to promote financial and digital education for citizens, and to foster training in cybersecurity. The Mayor of Madrid, José Luis Martínez-Almeida, and the President of the AEB and its Foundation, Alejandra Kindelán, have signed this agreement, which includes the transfer of AEB audiovisual content to the City Council and strengthens collaboration between the parties.
AEB, CECA and Unacc awarded for ‘Aula Financiera y Digital’ and their commitment to financial education

The Spanish Banking Association (AEB), CECA and the National Union of Credit Cooperatives (Unacc) have received the “Finanzas Para Todos” award for best trajectory in the development of the Financial Education Plan for the ‘Aula Financiera y Digital’ initiative. This award, granted by the Bank of Spain, the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) and the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation, is a recognition of the Spanish banking sector’s commitment to the financial and digital education of society.
