The Spanish Banking Association (AEB) Foundation has launched the second edition of its Alcanza Awards to bring society tools that help improve financial well-being and face everyday life with greater preparedness and confidence. This call for entries continues to focus on groups that need special support and reinforces the Foundation’s commitment to inclusion and digitalisation.
These awards recognise innovative projects in the fields of financial education, digital skills training and the promotion of cybersecurity best practices. They are aimed at non-profit organisations that have stood out in these areas over the past two years, or that will carry out relevant actions in 2026.
The Alcanza Awards have three categories: inclusion and people with disabilities, children and young people, and older people. Each category awards a main prize of €10,000, and the two finalists receive a €1,000 recognition award.
All non-profit organisations that develop projects aligned with the mission and values of the AEB Foundation may apply for the awards, especially if they represent innovation in financial education, digitalisation and cybersecurity. Projects must have been carried out over the past 24 months or be active in 2026. The deadline for submitting applications is 30 March 2026.
“Our goal is to provide real opportunities. Everyone deserves access to knowledge that enables them to make decisions clearly and face their future with peace of mind. With the Alcanza Awards, we support initiatives that strengthen that ability and generate a positive and lasting impact on people’s lives,” says Alejandra Kindelán, Chair of AEB and its Foundation.
The AEB Foundation, established in 2008, is a private, non-profit institution dedicated to promoting education, training and research in all matters related to the Spanish and international financial system and the regulation of banking activity. It currently promotes financial education initiatives and helps provide useful concepts for managing personal finances.
