Kindelán welcomes her re-election for a second four-year term, in which she will focus her efforts on boosting growth and competitiveness led by the banking sector.

Our chairwoman, Alejandra Kindelán, speaks with the CEO of Santander Spain, Ignacio Juliá, regarding the challenges and the future of the banking sector. The discussion was moderated by Alicia Muñoz Lombardía, Head of Governance, Regulation, and Legal Services at Santander Spain.

We celebrated in Rome the major advances in payments in Europe! With the connection of Bizum and other European systems, we will be able to make instant payments between different countries, between individuals and in shops. And best of all, each person will do it with their own system, both for person-to-person transfers and in physical and online stores.

Our CEO, María Abascal, participates in a key dialogue on competitiveness and regulatory simplification with Maya Atig, Executive Director of the French Banking Federation (FBF). A further boost for collaboration and the achievement of priority objectives in Europe, such as boosting growth.

Our Chair, Alejandra Kindelán, is taking part in the opening of CUNEF’s new space, created for its 4,900 students of various nationalities and 295 faculty members.

Banking employee volunteers visit schools to help young people develop healthy financial habits as part of the program annually promoted in schools by the Spanish Banking Association Foundation and Junior Achievement Spain.
