The Spanish Banking Association (AEB), the AEB Foundation, and the ONCE Foundation have signed a collaboration agreement to promote initiatives aimed at enhancing the financial education of people with disabilities. The agreement was signed by Alejandra Kindelán, President of AEB and its foundation, and José Luis Martínez Donoso, General Director of the ONCE Foundation. They both underscored the importance of financial services being accessible and understandable for all people with disabilities, and consequently, the need to drive initiatives such as this agreement to make it a reality.

‘Your Mobile and You’ launches, a digital training program for the elderly
The Alicia y Guillermo Foundation and the AEB Foundation, of the Spanish Banking Association (AEB), are launching ‘Your Mobile and You’, a free digital training program that will benefit 1,300 people over the age of 60 residing in Madrid in 2024. This program will be held between April and December at entities linked to the Alicia y Guillermo Foundation. Participants will be able to acquire essential skills for using their mobile devices in a free 3-hour training session.
Expertclick provides free access to the Internet and digital tools to over 1,200 seniors.
Expertclick is now in its sixth edition, offering free workshops on the use of the Internet and digital tools for seniors. This program, promoted by the Cibervoluntarios Foundation and the Spanish Banking Association (AEB) Foundation, with the support of the Ministry of Social Rights and 2030 Agenda, aims to train individuals over 55 years old across Spain in basic digital skills. These include mobile phone usage, communication and leisure applications, digital health, online banking, and e-government.
