With the aim of reaching a broader audience through its initiatives, the AEB and its Foundation, in collaboration with CUNEF, launched It sounds vaguely familiar to me, a digital dictionary in which three well-known TV and theatre personalities explained up to nine financial concepts, such as the investment fund; debit and credit cards; or the risk premium, among others, in clear, engaging language.
This initiative reached more than 720,000 people through social media (Instagram, Facebook and Twitter).
It sounds vaguely familiar to me has been a success, thanks to the strong response from users. For this reason, the AEB plans to increase the number of concepts in this financial dictionary.
