In collaboration with the Quality Net Foundation, the Hellenic Bank Association has created free educational materials for primary school students (5th and 6th grade), as well as for their families and teachers. The materials are available to all primary schools through the Biomatikoschool online platform and can be used to prepare students for the “Bravo Panhellenic School Competition – Creating a Better World”. The competition and the materials are approved by the Ministry of Education and the National Institute for Educational Policy. With the support of Junior Achievement (JA) and the Ministry of Education, the Hellenic Bank Association runs the “Banks in Action” programme for students in the final years of secondary school (ages 16–18). These lessons aim to give students the opportunity to acquire basic financial knowledge and skills to help them manage their finances as informed consumers and broaden their horizons as future professionals.
