“For a long time now, banks have been advancing in digital transformation to serve all customers according to their individual level of digitalization.” This was stated by our Director of Public Policy, Rocío Sánchez Barrios, during her speech at the Forbes Business & Influencers Summit, an event that brought together influencers and the banking sector.
The health crisis caused by Covid-19 has accelerated the digital transformation that banks have been immersed in for some time. However, for them, it is compatible to serve generations accustomed to banking applications and more traditional customers, who do not receive such attention from new financial service operators that are not banks, she explained.
The customer service provided by banks combines in-person attention through their extensive branch network with that offered via remote channels, while institutions advance in their risk analyses with the aim of financing new types of businesses, such as those of influencers, Rocío Sánchez affirmed.
“Banks and the financial world must thoroughly understand how to analyze the risks and profiles of these businesses based on data that is not conventional. This is already happening,” our Director of Public Policy stated, explaining how institutions are increasingly interacting with digital entrepreneurs.
