Now that Ejecutivos magazine celebrates 25 years of professional activity, I would like to address precisely the challenges facing the Spanish economy and its financial system, and the need to analyze these challenges with a medium-term vision. The whirlwind of daily life leads us to think in the very short term, to consider only cyclical factors—the trees that prevent us from seeing the landscape—when what we need is a medium-term approach, a strategic reflection that helps us ensure the continuity of the economic recovery process we are experiencing.
