On December 2, the EBA published new guidelines (EBA/GL/2020/15) that amend and reactivate the previous guidelines on legislative and non-legislative moratoria (EBA/GL/2020/02), which provide for the possibility of requesting new moratoria until no later than March 31, 2021, and for a period not exceeding 9 months.
In accordance with the above, the General Council of the AEB, at its meeting on 2020-12-14, also agreed to reactivate the sectoral agreement on the deferral of financing operations for clients affected by the coronavirus crisis until March 30, 2021, with the modifications included in the attached Addendum.
