For Yolanda Rueda, President of the Cibervoluntarios Foundation, “thanks to these workshops we are promoting the use of technology among seniors to make their lives easier, while encouraging their active participation in social change”.

Through the website www.expertclick.org, any public or private institution—senior or neighbourhood associations, day centres, town councils or institutions representing seniors—can take part in this project.

According to the Survey on Equipment and Use of Information and Communication Technologies in Households by the National Statistics Institute (INE), 9 out of 10 people aged 16 to 74 have used the internet in the last three months, 99.6% of households have a telephone and 91.4% have internet access.
