It is true that no one claims this will resolve the crisis, but at least it gives the impression of combating it and, in any case, it “punishes” the alleged culprits for having caused it.
It is also true that some do not limit themselves to demanding but, having the authority to do so, have established specific taxes on banking activity, even on that which is its most socially useful activity, the collection of deposits.
