Banks are not alone in creating this new way of conducting finance; they are part of a global project that encompasses all of humanity. For the first time, institutions, governments, and nations have paused to consider the kind of world we wish to inhabit, and the answer to that question is reflected in the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted by the UN.
