Your Finances, Your Future is a financial education programme aimed at secondary school students. Its purpose is to encourage reflection on the importance of understanding the financial world and to promote ongoing learning in this area in order to make informed decisions.
The AEB Foundation and the Spanish Banking Association promote this programme in collaboration with the Junior Achievement Foundation. Volunteers from more than 22 banking institutions, together with professionals from AEB and CUNEF University, deliver the sessions in educational centres across the country.
This long-standing programme has benefited from the support and participation of both the top executives and CEOs of the main partner institutions, as well as the backing and involvement of representatives of the National Financial Education Plan, through its promoting bodies—the Bank of Spain, the National Securities Market Commission and the Ministry of Economy—thus demonstrating their commitment and support for the initiative.
This involvement reinforces the message that financial education from an early age is key to developing healthy habits, preventing fraud and making responsible decisions. Since its launch, Your Finances, Your Future has benefited nearly 70,000 students, establishing itself as a benchmark initiative in the field of school-based financial education.
