UniDiversity is a university training programme promoted by Fundación ONCE. It is aimed at young people with intellectual, developmental, or autism spectrum disabilities. Its goal is to offer them the opportunity to access university and complete a university-specific qualification in socio-occupational skills. This training enables them to better prepare for employment, gain autonomy, and advance in their personal development.
In this context, the AEB Foundation participates in the programme by integrating a financial education module. This module strengthens key knowledge about how banks work, the use of money, saving, spending control, and employment relationships.
Volunteers from both the Spanish Banking Association (AEB) and its member banks deliver this module in person at nearly thirty public and private universities across Spain.
The course, called Inclusive Finance, is an initiative by Fundación ONCE that seeks to train people with intellectual disabilities in financial matters. The AEB Foundation collaborated on this project by updating the training materials. This work was carried out by AEB employee volunteers, expert advisers in the various areas covered.
