Spaniards consider banking entities to be the institutions best prepared to protect them from cyber scams
In a context of high digitalization and a growing perception of the risk associated with cyberattacks, Spaniards trust banking entities to protect them against digital scams. Banking entities are the best-prepared institution and generate the most trust among Spaniards of all ages to protect their personal data, with a score of 7.1 out of 10, ahead of the State Security Forces and Bodies, technology companies, or Public Administrations.
AEB Collaborates in the Fight Against Online Information Hijacking
The Spanish Banking Association (AEB) is collaborating for the second consecutive year in the joint initiative of law enforcement and the private sector that offers victims of online information theft and extortion (ransomware) a solution to the loss of their personal files or demands for money to recover them.
