Next Thursday, April 8, a new session of the ‘Banking Lab’ will be held, focusing on the numerous technological challenges facing Europe, particularly in the field of artificial intelligence (AI). The United States and China have clearly committed to boosting their current and future wealth by relying heavily on AI. In this context, the European Union appears to be lagging behind in facing the digital revolution.
Andrés Pedreño, Professor of Applied Economics at the University of Alicante, and Miguel Otero, Senior Analyst at the Elcano Royal Institute, will present their views on the European Union’s position in the global technological struggle. Alicia González, International Economics Correspondent for El País, will moderate the debate.
