The Azerbaijan Banks Association (ABA) carries out a wide range of activities, such as financial education competitions and seminars in schools, training for financial journalists, open days at banks and other financial providers for students, fintech and start-up projects, etc. Each year, more than 1,000 people benefit from these initiatives.
In Azerbaijan, banks identify themselves as the main stakeholders in the development of financial education. Therefore, the role of the Azerbaijan Banks Association (ABA) is to act as the primary coordinating body in this field. Furthermore, the Azerbaijan Bank Training Centre and the ‘Banks and Business‘ newspaper provide direct education and educational articles. This centre has already trained approximately 30,000 people.
