The Spanish Banking Association (AEB) Foundation has launched the first edition of its ‘Alcanza’ Awards to highlight the banking sector’s commitment to providing society with tools to manage their finances and address economic challenges, with a special focus on groups requiring greater support.
Non-profit organizations with projects related to financial education, digital literacy, or the use of responsible cybersecurity practices may submit their applications for these awards before February 14, 2025.
The AEB Foundation’s ‘Alcanza’ Awards are divided into three categories: inclusion and people with disabilities, children and young people, and seniors; and each comes with a prize of 10,000 euros.
They will be awarded to non-profit entities for projects that stand out for their innovative nature and are aligned with the mission and values of the AEB Foundation. Projects must have been executed within the last 24 months or, alternatively, be underway during 2025.
The AEB Foundation is a private, non-profit institution established in 2008 to disseminate education, training, and research in all matters directly related to the Spanish and international financial systems and the regulation of banking activity. Currently, it carries out various initiatives to promote financial education and familiarize society with useful concepts for managing their money and personal finances.
