Regarding the Royal Decree-Law on the Write-down and Sale of Real Estate Assets in the Financial Sector, the AEB wishes to point out the following, pending the final text:
The AEB member banks will make every effort necessary to comply with the new and extraordinary requirements agreed upon by the Government. In this regard, they wish to emphasize that, once again, they intend to do so without requesting public aid, so as not to burden the taxpayer.
