The next session of the ‘Banking Lab’ will be held on Tuesday, March 28, in person, under the title “Opportunities and Risks of the Non-Banking Financial Sector”.
This session will analyze the behavior and outlook of the various financial market actors that are not banks in a context of return to normality in monetary policy, after more than six years of exceptional circumstances with zero interest rates.
The opening of the session will be led by the Director General of AEB, María Abascal. Manolo Balmaseda, Director of the Spanish Institute of Banking and Finance, will introduce the panel discussion, which will be composed of Angel Estrada, Director General of Financial Stability, Regulation and Resolution at the Bank of Spain; Santiago Fernandez de Lis, Head of Regulation at BBVA; and José Luis del Río, CEO of Arcano Asset Management. Edelmira Barreira, Associate Director of Thinking Heads, will moderate the debate.
The session will begin at 9:30 AM in the Auditorium of Cunef, at Calle Leonardo Prieto Castro, number 2.
