Launch of ‘Sí, Dígame’, a video series on personal finance

The Spanish Banking Association and its Foundation are launching a new financial education program focused on the elderly. The program addresses everyday economic issues in a consultancy format, where questions and concerns about daily personal finances can be gathered.

Coinciding with National Financial Education Day on October 1, the Association will begin broadcasting a series of videos via its website and social media. In these videos, two volunteer experts, Julio and Jaime, will discuss topics such as using ATMs, online shopping, and preparing for retirement, among others.

Those who wish to ask questions about topics they have doubts about can contact the program via WhatsApp, using the telephone line shown in the videos, or raise their concerns on social media. Based on the messages received, the instructors will decide which topics to explain in subsequent videos.

With this initiative, the AEB and its Foundation reaffirm their commitment to financial education, through which they carry out various projects aimed at young people, entrepreneurs, and the general public. Furthermore, the AEB collaborates as a member entity with the Financial Education Plan (PEF), promoted by the Bank of Spain and the National Securities Market Commission.
