The Spanish Banking Association and the trade unions CCOO, UGT and FINE have signed, in the Negotiating Committee, an Agreement on the 25th Banking Collective Bargaining Agreement that includes various improvements for the more than 70,000 people working in the sector.

The signed Agreement incorporates and develops the elements of the preliminary agreement reached on July 23, including, among others, an 11% improvement on the 2023 salary tables for the 2024-2026 period, which will begin to be received retroactively with effect from January 1, 2024; a guaranteed minimum annual amount for all employees and one additional day of personal leave in each of the three years of validity of the Agreement. Furthermore, it incorporates the necessary changes to adapt to current regulations.

Both parties, which in the case of the three signatory unions represent 71.21% of union representation, consider the agreement reached satisfactory, insofar as it meets the objective of mitigating the effect of past inflation in a singularly exceptional situation.
