Through a series of videos, famous television personalities will define and explain financial terms in simple and accessible language, having been previously briefed by economist and CUNEF professor Santiago Carb\u00f3 Valverde.<\/p>\n

Actress Juana Cordero will define the risk premium, Macarena G\u00f3mez will explain the concept of blockchain<\/em> and discuss investment funds, while Carlos Maldonado will teach the different uses of credit and debit cards, continuing until this first installment of nine videos is complete. The first four can be viewed starting today, Wednesday, October 19, on the website www.mesuenaunpoco.com<\/a>, where a new video explaining its corresponding financial term will be published each week. <\/p>\n

In addition, an intensive dissemination campaign is planned through social media, for which specific profiles have been created on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. The initiative will have the active support and contribution of AEB member banks, which have made their social media presence available to this project to achieve maximum dissemination of this unique Financial Dictionary<\/em>. <\/p>\n

With this highly engaging and digital format, the AEB seeks to bring financial terms and concepts that are not always easy to understand closer to as many citizens as possible, which, once understood, represent a very useful and practical tool for daily life. All this is achieved without losing the rigor of the definitions, which were previously reviewed and explained to the celebrities by economist Santiago Carb\u00f3, who also contributed to the selection of terms for this Financial Dictionary<\/em> alongside a committee of experts composed of CUNEF professors. <\/p>\n

With this new project, the Spanish Banking Association once again demonstrates its deep commitment, and that of its member banks, to financial education, understood as a means of helping to create more informed, reflective, and demanding clients in their relationships with the financial world. This new AEB initiative is born from that commitment, targeting a broader audience and partially complementing its financial education activities, which are primarily aimed at teenagers through its “Your finances, your future” program, developed in collaboration with Junior Achievement. <\/p>\n
