{"id":38520,"date":"2025-11-19T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2025-11-18T23:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aebanca.es\/actualidad\/notas-de-prensa\/more-than-10000-older-people-receive-digital-skills-training-with-expertclick\/"},"modified":"2026-04-09T12:35:18","modified_gmt":"2026-04-09T10:35:18","slug":"more-than-10000-older-people-receive-digital-skills-training-with-expertclick","status":"publish","type":"notas-de-prensa","link":"https:\/\/aebanca.es\/en\/actualidad\/notas-de-prensa\/more-than-10000-older-people-receive-digital-skills-training-with-expertclick\/","title":{"rendered":"More than 10,000 older people receive digital skills training with Expertclick"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li>Any entity or organisation can request free courses at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.expertclick.org\">expertclick.org<\/a> or by calling 674 72 76 23<\/li>\n<li>The initiative, driven by the Cibervoluntarios Foundation and the AEB Foundation with the support of the Ministry of Social Rights and the 2030 Agenda, promotes older people\u2019s autonomy and participation through technology<\/li>\n<li>In 2025, more than 2,000 older people have been trained through more than 170 free workshops in 30 provinces, mainly in rural areas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Since its launch in 2018, the Expertclick programme has brought technology closer to more than 10,000 older people across Spain through free workshops on the easy and safe use of technological tools to improve their autonomy, independence and quality of life.<\/p>\n<p>Driven by the Cibervoluntarios Foundation and the Spanish Banking Association (AEB) Foundation\u2014with the support of the Ministry of Social Rights and the 2030 Agenda\u2014this initiative aims to equip people aged 55 and over with basic digital skills, especially in rural areas.<\/p>\n<p>In 2025 alone, more than 2,000 older people have taken part in these workshops at no cost to beneficiaries thanks to more than 170 activities organised in collaboration with nearly a hundred entities in 30 provinces.<\/p>\n<p>The four-hour courses teach participants how to use a mobile phone and <em>tablet<\/em> to make video calls, use leisure apps, browse and shop online, book medical appointments online, use the digital certificate and electronic signature, and carry out banking transactions easily and securely, among other skills.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to in-person workshops, the programme offers practical video tips and a free helpline\u2014by phone and online\u2014with a team of experts who help resolve technology-related queries, thereby extending its digital reach.<\/p>\n<p>Alejandra Kindel\u00e1n, Chair of the Spanish Banking Association (AEB) Foundation, highlights that &#8220;Expertclick is a clear example of how technology can help improve older people\u2019s daily lives by facilitating access to essential services.
