This fund was created in 2013 and comprises over 10,000 homes across Spain, owned by credit institutions. <\/p>\n<p>This new measure by the banking sector to mitigate the effects of the coronavirus crisis on the most vulnerable groups in society adds to the mortgage payment moratorium that the Government announced last week and which banks have already begun to implement.<\/p>\n<p>With this rent payment deferral, Spanish banks are taking another step in their support for society during such a difficult time.
