{"id":37857,"date":"2021-09-23T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2021-09-22T22:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aebanca.es\/actualidad\/notas-de-prensa\/expertclick-celebrates-international-day-of-older-persons-with-new-workshops-on-mobile-phone-use\/"},"modified":"2026-04-09T12:37:23","modified_gmt":"2026-04-09T10:37:23","slug":"expertclick-celebrates-international-day-of-older-persons-with-new-workshops-on-mobile-phone-use","status":"publish","type":"notas-de-prensa","link":"https:\/\/aebanca.es\/en\/actualidad\/notas-de-prensa\/expertclick-celebrates-international-day-of-older-persons-with-new-workshops-on-mobile-phone-use\/","title":{"rendered":"Expertclick celebrates International Day of Older Persons with new workshops on mobile phone use"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li>The technology school will hold more than 30 workshops, aimed at 300 people, from September 27 to October 8 in municipalities across Asturias, Castilla-La Mancha, Castile and Le\u00f3n, Extremadura, the Canary Islands, the Balearic Islands, and Navarre, among others.<\/li>\n<li>All older persons who require this training, and any public or private institution wishing to offer these workshops in their locality, may request them at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.expertclick.org\">expertclick.org<\/a><\/li>\n<li>More than 1,200 students will be trained in 2021, bringing the total number of beneficiaries to 3,000 since the program began<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To mark the &#8216;International Day of Older Persons&#8217; celebrated on October 1, Fundaci\u00f3n Cibervoluntarios and the Spanish Banking Association (AEB) Foundation have launched new digital training courses through Expertclick, their free technology school for people over 55, focusing on the use of smartphones, tablets, and relevant applications.<\/p>\n<p>Specifically, 30 workshops will be held from September 27 to October 8, accommodating approximately 300 students from various municipalities in Asturias, Castilla-La Mancha, Castile and Le\u00f3n, Extremadura, the Canary Islands, the Balearic Islands, and Navarre.
