{"id":37779,"date":"2023-03-30T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2023-03-29T22:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aebanca.es\/actualidad\/notas-de-prensa\/me-apptualizo-launches-digital-training-programme-for-over-60s\/"},"modified":"2026-04-09T12:38:40","modified_gmt":"2026-04-09T10:38:40","slug":"me-apptualizo-launches-digital-training-programme-for-over-60s","status":"publish","type":"notas-de-prensa","link":"https:\/\/aebanca.es\/en\/actualidad\/notas-de-prensa\/me-apptualizo-launches-digital-training-programme-for-over-60s\/","title":{"rendered":"Me Apptualizo Launches: Digital Training Programme for Over-60s"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li>It will benefit more than 1,050 elderly residents in Madrid.<\/li>\n<li>The training sessions are held between February and May of this year, in centers managed by various public institutions in Madrid.<\/li>\n<li>Participants will learn how to independently manage their mobile phones, become familiar with different online payment methods, and receive basic cybersecurity training.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The EmancipaTIC association and the AEB Foundation, part of the Spanish Banking Association (AEB), are launching &#8216;Me Apptualizo&#8217;, a free digital training program for people over 60 residing in Madrid.<\/p>\n<p>More than 1,050 beneficiaries will receive training through programs provided at no cost to them, which will be held between February and May 2023 in senior centers run by the Madrid City Council.<\/p>\n<p>The objective of these sessions is to help improve the quality of life and social inclusion of the elderly through the use of digital tools on mobile devices.<\/p>\n<p>It is important to increase the beneficiaries&#8217; confidence in using their mobile devices, achieving the necessary autonomy to make online purchases securely and use online banking applications.<\/p>\n<p>Specialized teachers will lead these workshops with the support of student volunteers from CUNEF University.
