This program, promoted by the Cibervoluntarios Foundation and the Foundation of the Spanish Banking Association (AEB), with the support of the Ministry of Social Rights and 2030 Agenda, seeks to train those over 55 throughout Spain in basic digital skills. These include mobile phone use, communication and leisure applications, digital health, online banking, and e-government.  <\/p>\n<p>At least 1,200 seniors will benefit from Expertclick in this edition, especially in rural areas. Since Cibervoluntarios and the AEB joined forces in this program in 2018, more than 6,000 people have been trained in digital skills. In 2023 alone, 1,449 people were trained through 140 workshops in 31 different provinces, 82% of which were in rural areas.  <\/p>\n<p>In the free four-hour workshops, students learn to use mobile phones and tablets to browse the internet, make video calls, use leisure applications, shop online, and perform online tasks such as requesting medical appointments or using digital certificates and electronic signatures. They also learn how to manage their banking online simply and securely. Ultimately, the purpose of Expertclick is to ensure that seniors gain autonomy and security on the internet.  <\/p>\n<p>In addition, training can be accessed through Expertclick&#8217;s video tips, available on the program&#8217;s website www.expertclick.org. It is expected that another 40,000 seniors across Spain will benefit through this channel.
