Create strong passwords (use reliable\/approved password managers, if available), do not write them down, and try not to be seen when typing them. Avoid temporary solutions, even if they seem to provide exactly what you need.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>Stay alert<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Be wary of any suspicious activity and requests, especially those related to financial matters. It could be CEO fraud! If in doubt, call the requester to verify. Do not click on links or attachments received in unsolicited emails and text messages.   <\/p>\n<p><strong>Avoid providing personal information<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Never respond to messages with personal information, even if they claim to be a legitimate business. Instead, contact the company directly to confirm their request. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Secure remote access<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Connect to the corporate network only via the corporate VPN and protect the elements (e.g., smart card) required for the VPN connection.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Develop new routines<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Discuss work plans with your direct supervisor and team members during the remote work period, including task distribution, deadlines, and communication channels.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Protect your equipment and remote work environment<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Do not allow family members to access your work devices. Lock or turn them off when you are not paying attention to them, and always store them in a secure place to prevent loss, damage, or theft.
