The Spanish Banking Association (AEB) Foundation hosted the first annual meeting of its partner organisations in the field of social action to expand the reach and number of beneficiaries of its initiatives in the coming months.<\/p>\n

Currently, the AEB Foundation carries out six social action projects with the objective of serving all groups that may need financial education, inclusion initiatives, or digital skills training.<\/p>\n

This private, non-profit institution plans to launch eight new projects throughout 2024, aimed at various groups, including children, young people, seniors, people with disabilities, and residents of rural Spain. Between in-person and online initiatives, it expects to reach a total of 260,000 beneficiaries this year. <\/p>\n

The meeting held on February 7 at the Foundation’s headquarters addressed projects already underway and those that will begin in the short term, to identify the main challenges and opportunities.<\/p>\n

Alejandra Kindel\u00e1n, President of the AEB Foundation, thanked all social action partners for their work. “When you work to improve people’s daily lives, it is a great privilege to have such exceptional travel companions. Sharing the same objectives and collaborating toward a common goal undoubtedly helps us go further. Thank you all for being part of our projects,” she stated. <\/p>\n

Current social action partners of the AEB Foundation include: Junior Achievement, ONCE Foundation, Plena Inclusi\u00f3n, Alicia and Guillermo Foundation, Madrid City Council, Telef\u00f3nica Foundation, Spanish Red Cross, Cibervoluntarios Foundation, Secot, and Somos Digital Association.<\/p>\n

Additionally, the AEB Foundation participates in the National Financial Education Plan, an initiative promoted by the Bank of Spain, CNMV, and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Enterprise, to improve citizens’ financial literacy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
