It appears that the worst of the recession is behind us. However, not only have we stopped growing, but the crisis has also eroded 5 percentage points of real GDP, destroyed over 1.5 million jobs, increased the unemployment rate by 12 percentage points to nearly 20%, and the public deficit exceeds 10% of GDP. <\/p>\n
